The way you receive payments can vary too, from taking credit card payments using a banks E-Commerce Payment gateway, to receiving the customers details (securely) and processing the payment yourself, through to using a web service such as Paypal or Google Checkout.
The method you choose will depend on how big your store is and your budget. Every payment method has charges applied to them by the service provider, but these vary and we can help make this all clear.
